Oniro has been selected to take part in the Campus ReStartApp 2025, the entrepreneurial development program promoted by Fondazione Edoardo Garrone.

This initiative is dedicated to fostering innovation and generating new economic opportunities in Italyโ€™s inland and mountain areas. Over the coming weeks, Oniro will join other entrepreneurial teams in an intensive program combining strategic training, mentorship, and fieldwork.

The program takes place in Castel del Giudice (Molise), a town that has become a national model for regeneration and community-led development. Under the leadership of Mayor Lino Gentile, Castel del Giudice has leveraged the Bando Borghi to stimulate local growth, foster sustainable tourism, and build partnerships with other small towns across the Molise region.

For Oniro, participation in Campus ReStartApp is both a learning opportunity and a chance to contribute. It will allow us to refine our business development strategies, strengthen our network, and explore how our technologies โ€” from Foam Additive Manufacturing to sustainable production systems โ€” can actively support communities and production ecosystems in ways that are effective, inclusive, and future-oriented.

We look forward to engaging with this vibrant ecosystem, where innovation and local identity grow together.

Oniro wins ESA BIC Lazio Open Call

This project was made possible thanks to the funding received under the โ€œCampania Startup 2023โ€ call for proposals, promoted by the Regional Department for Research, Innovation, and Startups (UOD05 โ€“ Regione Campania), as part of the Regional Operational Programme FESR 2014โ€“2020 โ€“ Specific Objective 1.1 โ€“ Action 1.1.3.
This strategic support enabled us to formalize Oniro S.r.l. and initiate the industrial development of our core technology: Foam Additive Manufacturing (FAM), an advanced 3D printing process capable of controlling the internal morphology and density of thermoplastic materials through real-time physical foaming.

The project presented under the Campania Startup 2023 program aimed to demonstrate the potential of mono-material structural components manufactured in a single step, without adhesives or post-processing, offering high mechanical performance and full recyclability. Applications range from lightweight sandwich panels for transportation and aerospace to bio-based foamed parts for sustainable consumer products.
Thanks to this grant, we were able to invest in early-stage prototyping, intellectual property protection, and validation of our approachโ€”laying the foundation for what is now an operating startup with international ambitions and solid technical credibility.
